Lawyer Edward Chico gave his two cents on the selection of the next Chief Justice, saying it is better if it is somebody who has served as Associate Justice rather than a politician.
In a Facebook post, Chico said a politician with no court experience would have a huge debt of gratitude to the appointing power.
Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo is set to retire in November.
