Lawyer Edward Chico defended his friend, singer Jimmy Bondoc, from those belittling him as a lawyer.
In a Facebook post, Chico said Bondoc completed his law degree while working for the government.
Bondoc was also working while studying for the Bar, as he was performing in bars during this review.
“He even sang in one of my shows few weeks before he took the exam,” said Chico, a stand up comedian.
He made the post after actor Janus Del Prado told Bar takers not to be nervous about the exams, considering that Bondoc passed it.
Del Prado also poked fun at Bondoc’s earlier statement that the arrest warrant for his client, Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa, could be served on his lawyers.
