Duterte tells restos, resorts to refuse unvaccinated customers: They’re a threat to public health
President Rodrigo Duterte emboldened business owners and said they can send away customers who are not vaccinated against COVID-19.
“Kailangan talaga, lahat mabakunahan. Ang mga ayaw, they should not be allowed inside public restaurants or resorts because they are a threat to public health and the safety of the general public,” Duterte said in his Tuesday public address.
“health?
The abogado earlier said that there is nothing wrong with employers who will refuse to hire unvaccinated job applicants. Malacañang has made vaccines mandatory for employees of public and private entities reporting for work in areas with enough vaccine supplies by December 1.
Duterte also ordered local politikos to get the jabs in people’s arms.
tao so dapat kayang-kaya din nila ito,” he added.
