Duterte says he only aimed for passing grade at San Beda Law: Paano ang girls kung mag-aaral ka buong araw?
President Rodrigo Duterte has admitted he didn’t have any ambition to excel when he studied at the San Beda College of Law.
In a speech in Bacolod City Thursday (April 11), Duterte said he was happy to receive a passing grade of 75 throughout his four years in law school.
He said he didn’t see the point of studying hard at the expense of having a social life.
“Pero ako, nung na-abogado ako, 75 man lang rin. Ay ‘yon lang man talaga ang gusto ko. Wala man talagang iba. Bakit ka mag-aral hanggang umaga, hanggang hapon? P***** i**** ‘yan.
Wala ka na tuloy. Papaano ‘yung mga girls?” Duterte said during PDP-Laban’s campaign sortie.
Recalling his student days, the President added: “‘Yung mga sine-sine natin diyan hapon. Sila diretso sa library. Ako ‘yung mga taga-Centro Escolar, ‘Sine muna tayo.’ ‘Yong iba sige banat doon sa library. Ah sus.”
Despite being an average student in law school, Duterte beamed with pride that he’s now the President– and he has academic achievers as Cabinet Secretaries.
“Mga cum laude, mga valedictorian. Tsk. Nasa isip ko, ‘Ito ‘yung mga buang nagpaloko.’ Tignan mo ngayon, puro utusan ko lang itong mga g***,” he said.
