Duterte disses Carpio for WPS remarks: ‘Anong nagawa mo pagka-Supreme Court mo?’
President Rodrigo Duterte spent a lot of time dissing retired Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio and ex-Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario after the pair criticized how the government is dealing with the West Philippine Sea issue.
“Anong nagawa mo? Anong nagawa mo pagka-Supreme Court mo? I want to say something pero ayaw kong — it might degrade into something kaya hintuan mo ‘yang pagyayabang ninyo,” Duterte said in his May 3 public address. “P***** i**, wala kayong bayag. Iyan ang totoo.”
It was through Carpio’s suggestion which got the Aquino administration to trigger the Permanent Court of Arbitration to tackle and eventually declare the West Philippine Sea as owned by Manila, dismissing China’s sweeping claims in the area.
The low blow went as far as fat-shaming Carpio.
“Itong si Carpio tumaba na nang husto. Walang ginawa kung hindi
magdaldal. Tumahimik ka ngang p***** i** mo. Leche ka. Tapos madaldal daw ako nagmumura. Eh bakit? Ganoon naman talaga ako,” Duterte added.
Carpio is leading 1Sambayan, a new opposition coalition which hopes to defeat Duterte’s anointed successor in 2022.
