DOJ to look into Xian Gaza’s viral claim
The Department of Justice (DOJ) will look into Xian Gaza’s now viral claim that he was able leave the country despite having three warrants of arrest against him.
DOJ spokesperson Mark Perete disclosed that they are now verifying Gaza’s claims and have asked the Bureau of Immigration to probe it.
In his Facebook account, Gaza disclosed that he was able to leave the country on September 30, 2018.
He then claimed that he was able to pass through immigration officials since there was no hold departure order issued against him.
In 2018, Gaza was sentenced by the Malabon Metropolitan Trial Court to five years and six months in prison, after he was found guilty of violating the Anti-Bouncing Check Law.
