DOJ subpoenas four in Marawi siege

Government prosecutors subpoenaed four individuals implicated along with Marawi City Vice Mayor Arafat Salic in the 2017 Marawi siege.

Summoned by the Department of Justice were the public official’s two siblings Samer and Walid, Edris Salid and Alinor Abas.

They were required to file their counter-affidavit on April 23 and May 2 for rebellion.

The vice mayor has already filed his own counter-affidavit and sought the dismissal of the rebellion complaint filed against him

He accused Mayor Majul Usman Gandamra of fabricating allegations linking him to the 2017 Marawi siege. #
