Diokno thanks UST for influencer award in legal advocacy

Akbayan Rep. Chel Diokno was happy to be recognized as an influencer.

Diokno received the USTV+ Media Influencer Award in Legal Advocacy and thanked the University of Santo Tomas community for the recognition.

Diokno, a rights lawyer, has been sharing videos explaining the law and legal issues, and giving practical tips to the public.

He said he never thought, even in his wildest dreams, that he would receive such an award.

He thanked all those watching his videos and said they could expect more.

“Lalo pa nating sisikapin na gumawa ng mga video na makakatulong sa ating mga kababayan,” he said.

UST said the USTV+ awards honor personalities, influencers, and content creators who entertain, educate, and empower audiences.
