Human rights abogado Chel Diokno took a stand in favor of the good conduct time allowance law, despite criticisms that it could benefit convicts of heinous crimes, including rapist-murderer Antonio Sanchez.

In a tweet, the abogado clarified that Republic Act 10592 was created to give a new lease of life to reformed inmates.
