De Lima names senatorial bets who could be ‘liars’
Opposition Senator Leila M. de Lima believes that lies and discrimination could further improve some candidates’ chances of winning in the elections.
That’s why she urges the voting public to be more vigilant against such candidates, especially those being fielded by the administration.
De Lima dropped the names of senatorial candidates whom she said the public should be vary of: former senator Jinggoy Estrada, presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino, former congresswoman Imee Marcos and former special presidential assistant Bong Go.
“A candidate who attains victory by lying will govern by lying, so we should consider it as a red flag that the administration senatorial candidates are using lies and disinformation as a key tactic to deceive the Filipino voters,” she said.
