De Lima finally convinces court to allow her to leave for a 1-day medical checkup
Senator Leila De Lima will finally get to step out of her detention room inside Camp Crame after previous rejections.
Her spokesman Atty. Rolly Peoro happily announced that the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 256 granted their camp’s request for a 24-hour furlough in the name of the senator’s health.
De Lima, 61, last stepped out of detention in 2019 to visit her ailing mother. Now, the court has allowed her to finish all her medical exams in one day.
