#DangalAtHusay: UP Law team a semifinalist in int’l moot court tilt

The University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law delivered another source of pride after a semifinal finish at the recently concluded International Criminal Court (ICC) Moot Court Competition in the Hague, the Netherlands.

The UP Law team, which includes Samantha Tirthdas (team captain), Theodore Joseph Jumamil, Monique Castro Roa, Vaupetroanji Peña, and Risa Crisostomo, battled with 64 other schools all over the globe in the 6-day tournament.

Tirthdas won the awards for overall Best Speaker and Best Speaker for the prosecution as well.

Professors Nicky Ty and Raphael Pangalangan were the team’s coach and assistant coach, respectively.
