Dacera’s friends turned respondents seek donations for abogado fees

The friends of flight attendant Christine Dacera know they are in for a long and costly legal battle to prove their innocence in the 23-year-old’s death.

Valentine Rosales, one of the four friends who faced the media last week with their account of the events running up to Dacera’s death, went public on Facebook to solicit any help they can get to pay for a good lawyer to make their case before the courts.

“I would like to ask for your help to raise funds for me and my fellow friends who are struggling to finance a lawyer in assisting us in this situation & effectively defend us. Any amount of donation will mean alot & will be appreciated,” he said, sharing a GCash number to accept any donations, calling it a move to “Fund the Truth.”

“Again thank u to every single one of you who were here with us through our fight for the truth,” Rosales added, insisting that they are innocent and did not do any harm upon their friend.
