Dacera’s friends explain why flight attendant was lying inside hotel bathtub
One of the persons of interest in the death of flight attendant Christine Dacera faced the press on Thursday to vehemently deny allegations of rape and homicide, saying that they can never do any harm to their dear friend.
A crying Clark Rapinan, a nurse, recounted the final hours of Dacera and why she spent the night at the hotel room’s bathtub where she was eventually found unconscious.
Rapinan said Dacera was vomiting all night after partying with friends to welcome the New Year.
“Nasa bathtub siya and she’s waiting na masuka. Alam niyang masusuka siya,” Rapinan said during a joint press conference on Thursday with three other respondents to the case. “Siya mismo ang nag-iinsist na doon na siya magpapahinga kasi ayaw niyang masuka sa bed, ayaw niyang maihi sa bed.”
Rapinan and fellow friends who spoke up publicly about the events that transpired that night denied using illegal drugs, even saying that they are willing to take a drug test to prove their claim.
All pledged innocence and denied any foul play that led to the 23-year-old’s death.
