CJ witnesses signing of SC, BCDA memorandum of understanding
Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Supreme Court and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority for the allocation of a 5.8-hectare area inside the National Government Administrative Center in New Clark City for the high court and its attached agencies.
Court Administrator Jose Midas P. Marquez (second from left, first row), on behalf of the judiciary, and BCDA President and CEO Vivencio Dizon (fourth from left, first row) signed the memorandum.
Also present were (from left to right, second row) SC Justices Jose C. Reyes, Jr., Marvic Mario Victor F. Leonen, Antonio T. Carpio, Diosdado M. Peralta, Henri Jean Paul B. Inting; Atty. Laura C.H. del Rosario (left, first row), Deputy Clerk of Court and Judicial Reform Program Administrator; and BCDA Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Aileen Anunciacion Zosa (right, first row).
The 5.8-hectare lot will be used, among others, as a regional office of the SC with an archive center, data center, and a training center with living quarters; and also by its attached agencies such as the Philippine Judicial Academy and the Judicial and Bar Council.
