Chopper, ground search deployed for missing lawyer Ryan Oliva
The fraternity brothers of missing lawyer Ryan Oliva have ramped up efforts to look for him more than a week since he was last seen, this time tapping a helicopter search and deploying men on the ground for interviews.
A Facebook page called “Finding Atty. Ryan” has been set up to consolidate search efforts, pioneered by family and friends wanting to locate him. The Alpha Phi Beta fraternity has dangled a P100,000 reward for credible leads.
The chopper search started at Lubang Airport in Occidental Mindoro on November 30, with civilan investigators out to look for information on Oliva’s whereabouts.
The UP Law professor and Department of Tourism executive was last spotted in Nasugbu, Batangas, but his bag washed ashore in Looc.
The National Bureau of Investigation, the Philippine National Police, and even local troops are on the manhunt.
