Chiz Escudero on Carpio Morales deportation: It’s a wake-up call!
Abogado Chiz Escudero believes that the deportation of former Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales is a wake-up call. The elected Sorsogon governor is firm in saying that it is the Department of Foreign Affairs’ task to clarify the denial.
I consider what happened to Former Ombudsman Morales
as a wake up call because, for me, providing assistance & clarifying all denials of entry imposed by any State on any Filipino is part of the DFA’s job of protecting/defending our nationals especially when they are abroad.

Escudero believes that assistance should be extended to Carpio Morales at all costs. The former Senator noted that the DFA should defend Filipinos and their rights especially when they are abroad.
I may not always agree with her, but I cannot help but admire the courage & grace of Former SC Justice & Former Ombudsman Conchita Morales. Even under difficult circumstances, she remained composed, magnanimous & exuded a lot of wisdom with her spoken words. Kudos to you ma’am!

The former senator admittedly noted that he does not always agree with her. However, he admires the courage and the grace of the former SC justice even in such a situation and still managed to come out of it in a magnanimous, composed manner, and full of wisdom.
He wrote, “Kudos to you, Ma’am!”
