BIR sues 7 firms, 5 persons for P767M tax evasion suit

Tax evasion charges have been separately filed on Thursday against seven corporations and five individuals with a combined worth of P776 million before the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The filing of the cases stemmed after the respondents kept on ignoring collection and payment notices sent to them.

The Bureau of Internal Revenue identified the corporations as Taoyuan Textile Manufacturing Corporation of Marilao, Bulacan; Primekit Manufacturing Corporation of Bagbaguin, Valenzuela City; Spinmaster Textile of Pulang Lupa, Valenzuela City; Bicol Apparel of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City; Nature’s Best Agri Foods of Marilao, Bulacan; Amhran Trading Corporation of Bagumbong Duloy, Caloocan City and Innovative Technology and Environmental Corporation of Marilao, Bulacan.

On the other hand, the individual taxpayers were identified as Manuel Espiritu, proprietor of Greenbucks Enterprises, Pulilan, Bulacan; Armando Lagamson, owner of 11th Avenue, Caloocan City; Ma. Restiliza Sosa of Xylon Trading, Jacinto St., Caloocan; Amador Abichuela of Abichuela Enterprise of Virac, Catanduanes, and Ruben Salopaso of DNK Construction Supply in Polangui, Albay.
