Been there, done that: Goy Larrazabal says Guanzon’s illegal poster proposal is not new
Atty. Goy Larrazabal believes that he is first to start the discussion on letting candidates shoulder the expenses for the takedown of their illegal posters. The abogado noted that Commission on Elections Commissioner Rowena Guanzon’s proposal to do the same is not new or her own.
I proposed this idea back in 2004 when i was @COMELEC Provincial Election Supervisor of Bulacan.
I cited legal basis for it. Including the rates and guidelines. Also an environmental-friendly way of disposing of the materials.
I repeated the proposal in 2010. https://t.co/8cfCc10eO9
