Batongbacal hits mishaps in SEA Games venues
Maritime law expert Jay Batongbacal also weighed in on the Philippines’ hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
In light of the controversies, he asked:

He was referring to the controversial P55-million cauldron built at the New Clark City Stadium for the Games’ opening ceremony.

But aside from budget anomalies, Batongbacal also noticed that construction were still ongoing in some venues days before the opening on Saturday.
He asked: “Kasama ba sa SEAGames yung pabilisan maglinis ng construction materials?”
