How awkward! Bruce Rivera recounts ‘BolJakan’ in Philippine Women Judges Association

Sharing is caring!

Atty. Bruce Rivera loves a good drama especially if it does not concern him. The abogado recently recounted what transpired during the Philippine Women Judges Association press conference.

Rivera said that former President Joseph Estrada started the awkward conversation when he expressed his sarcastic gratitude to Supreme Court Associate Justice Teresita De Castro. Estrada thanked her for “committing him” and for not letting him finish the rest of his term or sentence. He even proclaimed himself as the “pioneer of impeachment.”

The pot was continuously steered when Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno took the stage. The abogado shared that Sereno only ranted about her impeachment and that with the support of other female judges, Justice De Castro immediately called her out for expressing herself in the wrong venue. She also pointed out how it was uncorteous of Sereno to conduct herself like that.

Rivera said that the tension rose quickly that it pushed the host to divert the attention to Congresswoman Vilma Santos.

Nako, nagkalat ang chismosa!
