Ade Fajardo takes on new role: UP alumni association legal counsel

Abdiel Dan “Ade” Fajardo is adding another leadership role to his law career after being elected legal counsel of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association for Academic Year 2026 to 2027.

Fajardo made headlines recently as the legal counsel of former Speaker Martin Romualdez, who is facing a plunder case in relation to the flood control controversy.

In a Facebook post, the Sigma Rho fraternity congratulated Fajardo on his election.

Fajardo obtained his law degree from UP, where he also graduated with a degree in BS Economics.

He served as National President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) from June 2017 to June 2019.

Before this, he took on the roles of IBP as Antique Chapter President, Western Visayas Governor, and Executive Vice President.

He is also a partner at Solis Medina Fajardo & Malilong.

“His election reflects his longstanding commitment to service in the legal profession and the University. May he continue to uphold the values of sacrifice, service, and loyalty as he undertakes this responsibility and contribute to the continued pursuit of excellence in the field of law,” Sigma Rho said.
