Abogado Malilong-Isberto is new Nayong Pilipino director
President Rodrigo R. Duterte has appointed abogado Lucille Karen
Malilong-Isberto as a board director of the Nayong Pilipino
Malilong-Isberto used to be the head of National Commission for
Culture and Arts committee on monuments and sites where she oversaw
the creation of a cultural mapping toolkit, the restoration of the
Metropolitan Theater, the creation of an NCCA capacity-building
program for local government units, the amendment of the National
Cultural Heritage Act, and the drafting of guidelines for NCCA
She was also Deputy Director for Ateneo de Manila School of
Government’s anti-corruption program “Project Laya.”
The University of the Philippines School of Law graduate used to be an
associate of SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan and Poblador Bautista
and Reyes Law Offices before she formed her own law firm in 2007.
Another Nayongg Pilipino appointee is Michelle Aguilar-Ong who will
serve the remaining term of former board member Gerald Medina.
