Nakakarami na! Olivar to face charges over bomb scare post
Authorities are set to file formal charges this coming week against controversial blogger Drew Olivar over his bomb scare post on social media just recently.
“Ito ay aming iimbestigahan and we will prepare appropriate charges before the City Prosecutor,” National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Guillermo Eleazar said over the weekend.
In his Facebook post, Olivar supposedly warned the public to refrain from going to rallies for the 46th anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law because of an alleged bomb threat.
He later deleted his post after irate netizens called his attention for sowing unverified fear.
Olivar was the same blogger and Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson who made fun of sign language.
He was also previously involved in a controversy over a lewd federalism jingle with Uson.
