DOJ to release findings on 5-minute girl viral video
Remember the “Nasaan-ang-5-minutes-ko” lady?
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Wednesday bared that the result of internal investigation against a government prosecutor whose run-in with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) went viral over the internet would be released soon.
According to Guevarra, the Department of Justice’s Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) was just ironing out the kinks before it announce the finings of whether or not to administratively charge prosecutor Christine Villamora Estepa.
“Lapit na according to internal affairs (the IAU said it will soon resolve the complaint),” said.
Estepa was caught in a 14-minute video arguing with MMDA traffic enforcers over her illegal parking violation during one of the agency’s operations in Quezon City.
The DOJ prosecutor was seen in the video asking Bong Nebrija, MMDA supervising operations officer, and other traffic enforcers to give her “five minutes” before her vehicle was towed.
The video, posted on Gadget Addict’s Facebook page, has since made rounds in social media.
