Kulang pa sa ebidensya: DOJ tells police to refile case vs. DDS blogger Drew Olivar
Govermnet prosecutors on Tuesday rejected the complaint filed by the police against controversial blogger Drew Olivar over his posting of a bomb joke on his Facebook page prior to the protest rallies last September 21 for insufficiency of documents.
Senior Inspector Myrna Diploma, of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO)-Public Information Office, disclosed the DoJ told them to instead re-file the case once the documents are complete.
The fiscal on duty when the complaint was filed reportedly sought the IP address of Olivar’s Facebook post.
“Kailangan pa po naming makipagcoordinate sa Anti-Cybercrime Unit para po makumpleto ‘yung ebidensya namin sa pagsampa, pagrefer ng kaso ni Drew Olivar dito sa DOJ,” Diploma said.
