Trabaho na lang atupagin: Sereno advises court workers against meddling in impeachment
For the nth time, Chief Justice Ma. Loures Sereno has called on court workers to refrain from becoming involved in the impeachment process, saying she would rather see them performing their duties.
Sereno, who is facing impeachment for culpable violation of the Constitution and betrayal of public trust, added court employees while in the performance of their duties should also be on the lookout to preserve the judiciary’s independence, integrity and dignity.
“It is most important to me that the dignity and independence of the judiciary is preserved. And that has been the principles I have been observing in my conduct in all of these times.”
“To the men and women of the judiciary. Please continue focus on your work. Nothing should distract us. there is much to be done for this country. Our COUNTRY is crying for justice,” Sereno said.
