Bar 2018 Recap: Check out the Day 1 Highlights
The wait is over as the Bar 2018 officially starts. The Supreme Court of the Philippines kept a rundown of all the happenings during the busiest month of the high court, bar takers and their law schools.

The University of Santo Tomas gates opened promptly at 5 am in the morning. Bar takers and supporters eagerly went in the campus in preparation for assembly and the actual start of the day.

In a matter of hours after the start of the examination, 2018 Bar Chairman Justice Mariano del Castillo met with esteemed abogados and law school deans to discuss the questions for this year. The abogado discussed the Political Law questionnaire that consists of 20 items with 8 subquestions spread out through the test.
This is part of the traditional breakfast ceremony the Chair hosts with the law school deans. Later that day, the SC also released the questions for the Labor Law examination.
The next set of exams will be held on November 11, 2018. Bar candidates will be hurdling Civil Law and Taxation Law — one of the hardest subjects for most law students.
